Last December Rumain Brisbon, a 34-year-old Black man, was shot and killed by a Phoenix cop. Brisbon was unarmed. The police claimed that Brisbon reached for his "waistband area." All he had was a bottle of pills. This happened just a day before a grand jury in New York City announced that there would be no charges filed against the cops who choked Eric Garner to death on Staten Island. People protested in the streets in Phoenix against the murder of Rumain Brisbon—part of the wave of resistance against police murder and brutality that began with protests in Ferguson against the killing of Michael Brown and spread across the country.

On April 1 the Maricopa County prosecutors announced that no charges will be filed against the cop who killed Brisbon. They said the murdering cop had not violated any laws. Another outrageous case of a murdering cop being allowed to walk with the justification of "justified" use of deadly force! The attorney for Brisbon's family said, "There was no investigation. They were certainly not interested in finding out what the truth was."

No more to the system giving the green light to killer cops! All out for April 14!
